EDEN ENERGY MEDICINE LEVEL 1: FUNDAMENTALS - FARO

The one-year, in-person, Level 1: Fundamentals program in Faro, Algarve, is a multicultural course (taught in English) where students come together from different parts of Europe to emerse themselves in the teachings of Eden Energy Medicine.

The program runs over 4 expanded weekends that take place quarterly throughout the year, starting on a Thursday and ending on a Sunday.

Each Class has a specific curriculum of subjects that students learn to put into practice over the weekend, and consist of an healthy combination of theory, questions and answers, demonstrations and practical applications, with students practicing the contents presented among themselves.

Classes must be performed sequentially, that is, completing the previous class is a mandatory requirement to be able to advance to the next class.​ Completing a class involves passing a written skills test (online) and a practical test (in person or online, via Zoom).
Level 1: Fundamentals - Algarve
In Level 1: Fundamentals classes you will learn:
​
  • How to take an active role in the healing of yourself and your loved ones and say goodbye to feelings of powerlessness.
 
  • Alternative treatments for pain so you can potentially lessen or completely remove any dependencies on pain medication.
 
  • If so, this class is for you! Is straight forward, easy, and full of information to help you take better care of yourself and help others do the same.
 
  • Ways to strengthen the immune system so you and loved ones can build resilience to illness.
 
  • To develop your own unique gifts when it comes to moving, directing or shifting energy in the body. You will leave class a more confident healer.
 
  • Ways to track energy in the body so you know what techniques will bring about the best results for you and anyone you work on.

Plus, you’ll leave class qualified to enter Level 2 of the Certification Program so that you can eventually build a healing practice as an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You can expect a warm and informal atmosphere, where you will learn and experience that you can evaluate and influence your own energy and the energy of others. And you will meet people with the same interests in deepening their knowledge of Energy Medicine, healing, and personal development.

Although the class will be taught in a fun and relaxing environment, this training is designed to provide you with powerful tools for personal transformation and growth. To this end, participants will work individually and in pairs, depending on the protocol or exercise. Everyone will have the opportunity to practice the roles of "therapist" and "patient", so that they can feel and personally experience the benefits of Eden Energy Medicine.

There will be breaks and lunch time. The schedule may vary slightly if unforeseen needs arise.
In order to prepare for class and make the most out of the time we will have in Faro, we will get together as a group in two Zoom meetings before each class to go over the theoretical aspects of the materials. This way, we will have more time dedicated to practicing the materials live in Faro. Attendance is mandatory.

LOCATION

The Level 1: Fundamentals course will be held in the picturesque city of Faro, the capital of the Algarve.

Faro was never part of the traditional "sun and beach" routes associated with the Algarve. Because of this, it has kept much of its identity and originality. In recent years, it has become a hub for travelers and citizens of the world, who find here a relaxed and eclectic lifestyle. You can find out more about the city HERE

There are several accommodation options in Faro. The training will take place at the Hotel Eva Senses, located next to the marina. The city center and the area surrounding Hotel Eva Senses is relatively small and easy to walk around.

Venue

The Eva Senses Hotel will be our "home" during this year of studies.
 
Located in the heart of the city of Faro, next to the marina, and with a privileged view over the Ria Formosa, it has all the conditions to welcome us  with open arms.

The Hotel is located a mere 200m from Faro Bus Terminal, and about 400m from Faro Train Station. Faro International Airport is 6 km from the town centre and only a 10 minute drive.

TUITION

The tuition for the 2024 year-long, Eden Energy Medicine Level 1: Fundamentals Classes is US $4,780 which you can pay with 4 payments of $1,195 per class.

Class 1: US $1,195 (due by March 21)
Class 2: US $1,195 (due by June 12)
Class 3: US $1,195 (due by September 5)
Class 4: US $1,195 (due by November 21)
 
Tuition covers:
  • 8 pre-class Zoom meetings.
  • 4 detailed and illustrated course books (one for each of the 4 classes) that you will be referencing for the rest of your life.

  • Evaluation and feedback of written and demonstration tests between classes.
  • Ongoing evaluations.

THE TEACHER

Hi,

My name is João Pestana, I´m a Portuguese Clinical Psychologist, with a Specialist degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, and I will be your teacher for this Level 1: Fundamentals training, in Faro.

My journey in Eden Energy Medicine started in Wotton House, Dorking (UK), in 2013, where I attended the Foundations course (now called Level 1: Fundamentals) with Madison King, Donna Eden's training director in Europe.

In 2015, after finishing year 2, I was part of the first group of European students to be certified as Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioners (EEM-CP). In 2016 I finished Year 3 and in 2017 I went to the USA to conclude Year 4, the advance training in Grid and Regression, becoming an Eden Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner (EEM-AP).

Passionate about spreading Donna´s work, I decided to get certified as an EEM teacher, currently being authorized to teach the basic courses of Introduction to Eden Energy Medicine , as well as the Level 1: Fundamentals course.
In 2017, I had the great honor and privilege to accept Donna Eden´s invitation to be part of the EEM Faculty who, worldwide, are authorized to teach the most advanced material in the certification program (Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program) in both England, and the USA.

When I´m not traveling or teaching, I live and work in the beautiful Algarve, where I help my clients to integrate mind, body and energy.

It´s my great pleasure to welcome you to this amazing, transfomative course, that is Level 1: Fundamentals.
